Crown Point Beach Hotel
Crown Point Beach Hotel gave feedback that the site could not be found when searches were done. This would indicate that they were not well positioned and in a time of reduced international travel they needed to find ways to get themselves more visible online.
Matrix Designs together with our SEO specialist analysed the search criteria for the industry and decided on relevant key words that were being used to search for Tobago Hotels. The site was then optimized for those key words and updated with new relevant content. Articles about the hotel were also written and posted online to further improve the website’s position.
Within 4 weeks, Crown Point began to see a difference, the number of enquiries increased. Their website position on the major search engines, Google, Yahoo and Bing improved with the search words ‘Tobago Beach Hotels’ getting a page 1 ranking on all three.
Over an initial 3mth period the site was visited by 5800 ‘Unique’ new visitors which represented 73% of the total traffic. A high percentage of new visitors suggests that efforts were successful to drive traffic to the site. Further analysis showed that in a 2 month period 741 people viewed the ‘make a reservation’ page and 10% were actually submitted.
The process will continue over the next 12 months by monitoring the site, writing articles and ongoing work to maintain their Page 1 position with the aim of increased positioning of other key words on all search engines.
